Government of Canada announces extension of 2024 charitable donations to February 28, 2025
To mitigate the impact of the four-week Canada Post mail stoppage, the Government of Canada has announced their intention to extend the deadline for making donations eligible for a 2024 charitable tax receipt to February 28, 2025. However, this extension has not yet been passed into legislation. We will keep you informed of any changes as new updates become available from the Government of Canada.
